Idea o' t' day: I found a way t' avoid usin' a weddin' arch for t' ceremony. In t' current issue o' t' knot weddin's seattle magazine on page 36 be these great wrought iron metal trees that I love. T' pic at t' top be t' same weddin' but does not do them justice. Covered in ivy, yellow, orange and pink candles and japanese lamps and flowers. These seem very heavy and hard t' move but perhaps I can think o' a way t' make somethin' similar out o' lighter materials like wood. It be a set design and construction project t' ponder. If mobile, thay can be moved t' surround t' dance floor after t' ceremony...

Instead of an arch....Trees!!!

Idea of the day: I found a way to avoid using a wedding arch for the ceremony. In the current issue of the knot weddings seattle magazine on page 36 are these great wrought iron metal trees that I love. The pic at the top is the same wedding but does not do them justice. Covered in ivy, yellow, orange and bright pink ancdles and japanese lamps and flowers. These seem very heavy and hard to move but perhaps I can think of a way to make something similar out of lighter materials like wood. It is a set design and construction project to ponder. If mobile, thay can be moved to surround the dance floor after the ceremony...

The first meeting of the Loveapalooza 2005 steering committee was held this past Sunday at the Mother-of-the-groom's home. A special thanks to the mother-of-the-bride, Mary, Gladys, Bonnie, Dorothy, Susan and Katie for coming, brainstorming and agreeing to be a part of this madness. Yummy food provided by Mom and Susan.

Wedding color scheme is warm, sunset colors. Mostly red yellow and orange with green accents. Think sunset, citrus fruits. No pastels, no way.

In addition 2 more people were asked to be bridesmaids and accepted. Who will be drafted next into my bridesmaid army? Stay tuned...
